Gi Group is one of the world’s leading companies providing services for the development of the labour market, operating in the fields of temporary and permanent staffing, search and selection, as well as a variety of complementary activities.

Gi group was established in the year 1998 as Générale  Industrielle. Only 2 years later the company had a network of 20 branches  and a turnover of 20 million Euros. In 2004, the acquisition of WorkNet -employment agency of Fiat Group – took place. At the beginning of 2007, Gi Group began its international expansion programme in Germany and Poland.  In 2008, Générale Industrielle and WorkNet merged into one brand – Gi Group, the biggest Italian job agency, providing temporary staffing, Search and Selection, training, outplacement, outsourcing, HR Consultancy and payrolling.

The expansion programme continued in countries such as China and Hong Kong, France, Brazil, Spain and India.  At present, Group is present in more than 20 countries across Europe, Asia and America, thanks to its direct and indirect presence.

At the end of 2010 Gi Group became one of the few “Global Corporate Members” of CIETT, the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies.

In 2012 the number of workers hired through Gi Group reached 160.000 worldwide, supplied to over 15.000 companies. Gi Group internally employed almost 2.400 people in total and had a worldwide turnover of 1 billion and 85 million Euros.
